A free guided walk for Armed Forces Week
Join Solihull Council's archivist, Tracey Williams on this guided walk looking at some of Solihull's links with the military and the Home Front.
The walk will start from The Core, Theatre Square, Solihull and include the High Street, Warwick Road, Poplar Road and Herbert Road. The route is approximately 2km and should take around 90 minutes. It is flat and paved and is suitable for wheelchair users.
Please arrive between 9:45-9:55am so that there is time to be set up with a headset for the audio commentary before the walk begins promptly at 10am.
Regrettably, dogs (other than assistance dogs) are not permitted on this walk.
Places are limited and advance booking is essential. Tickets for this event will be available to book from 7th June 2026.
Please bring wired headphones
Commentary will be delivered via wireless headsets, but please bring along your own wired headphones (3.5mm jack) if possible.
Headphones will be available to borrow if needed. Please note that wireless headphones or ear buds will not work with this system.
