Shirley Library Reading Group - July session

Help us answer an all-important question this July - which is better: the book or the film?

For our July meeting, we'll be discussing books that have been adapted into films. Are they any good? Are there any films that were better than the books? Which film adaptations got it right, and which got it wrong?

From Lord of the Rings, to I, Robot, there are many to choose from so pick a book that's been made into a film and come along and chat about it with (NB: you don't have to have seen the film too, the book might inspire you to watch it though).

Not sure what to pick? Visit Shirley Library and ask staff for a suggestion. Group members all read different books and share their thoughts about what they've read each month so you can pick anything.
