Session completeAdd to calendar event Knowle Local History & Poetry Walk
Join a local historian from Knowle Society and poet, Jonny Fluffypunk, on a guided walk around Knowle, looking at some of the local history and generating ideas for Jonny to take away and craft into a poem about Knowle's history.
We'll meet at Knowle Library at 2:15pm and, after the hour-long walk, we'll return to the library for about 30 minutes to look at some historic photos and talk about what we've seen on the walk. Jonny will collect everyone's ideas to inform his poem, which he will put together after the session - attendees won't be expected to write poems themselves, so it doesn't matter if you've no experience of poetry.
Attendees must be aged 16+ and booking is essential.
The route is paved and fairly flat, so should be accessible for wheelchair users.
We're not able to accommodate dogs (other than assistance dogs) on this walk.
