Have you always thought about writing but didn't know where to start?
Is writing a hobby you'd love to explore further?
Come along to our next Writers' Room session to meet other like-minded people, learn something new, and give each other feedback.
This session will focus on Save The Cat Structure. We will cover some of the principles set out in Jessica Brody's book, "Save The Cat! Writes a Novel", taking principles from screenwriting, and applying them to this handy template, and discussing how we can use this to structure our novels.
Sign up to join us at Dickens Heath Library, on Saturday 1 March at 10am.
What is The Writers' Room?
On the last Saturday of each month, we use our meet-up to focus on a particular writing skill and discuss it as a group. An optional task will then be set for our writers to share and receive feedback from each other (if requested).
The Writers' Room is intended for fiction or narrative/creative non-fiction writers (published, aspiring, or total beginners) of all genres, genders, and abilities to learn, share, and support each other.
Participation can be as active or passive as suits each individual writer.
Registration is required as spaces are limited. Please speak to a member of staff in Dickens Heath Library if you would like any further information.
We look forward to seeing you there!
