Chelmsley Wood Library will be hosting a brand new reading group of thrillers and crime writers every third Friday afternoon, from 16th May 2.30pm - 3.30pm.

Then join our exciting craft activity where we will be making butterfly and bumblebee plant pots with growing green hair to take home!
This activity is suitable for children between 18 months to 6 years old.

Join us as we celebrate Crime Reading Month and welcome psychological thriller author, Alex Stone to The Core Library.
Alex is the author of four psychological thrillers and will be joining us to tell all about her latest release, The Quiet Sister. She'll be sharing her writing process and her journey to becoming a published author.
This event is free, though places must be booked in advance.
Alex will be selling (and signing) copies of her novel at the event.
Join us at The Core Library on Thursday 3 July at 10:15 for a Cantonese language storytime.
The session is for children aged 0 - 5 years and there is a stay and play afterwards with toys and games available for the children and the chance to meet new friends.
Please book a place for all adults and children in your group. Unaccompanied adults cannot attend.

Travel with us up to the skies, into the oceans and through the jungle and be left with knowledge, enthusiasm and a real love for the environment, understanding the role we all play in looking after it.
