Indulge in a digital detox, switch off from the outside world and lose yourself in an hour of uninterrupted reading at The Core. No, it’s not a reading club, it’s a chance to unwind and read any book you like, in a cosy, informal environment without distractions. So, step away from that phone, grab a slice of cake and a coffee, and treat yourself to an hour of silent reading!
The Café begins with an hour of silent reading between 6pm and 7pm, with a chance to chat (if you want) between 7pm and 7.45pm. There's no obligation to talk about your book, although the conversation often turns to what everyone is reading!
So, bring a book (or e-reader), purchase some goodies from Encore Café, sit back, relax, and enjoy a slice of blissful silence.
